Aniima is a 2D platformer that is taking place within the psyche of a person. The player takes the role of a giant manta ray and its samurai friends, which are fighting their way into the heart of the psychic landscape. On their journey they are collecting lost fragments of the soul to unlock new environments.

The five Samurai represent different aspects of the human soul. The player can switch between the five samurai to use their unique special abilities and actions.
