The Subconscious Depths is an Environment created for the 2D side scrolling game ANIIMA.

ANIIMA is taking place within the psyche of a person. The player takes the role of a giant manta ray and its samurai friends, which are fighting their way into the heart of the psychic landscape. On their journey they are collecting lost fragments of the soul to unlock new environments. By collecting more and more Soulfragments, the Samurais are reaching deeper and deeper into the psychic terrain.

This page shows the Subconscious Depths, the last stage on the adventure of the samurais. The environment is populated with bioluminescent seaweeds and corals and serves as a home to the suppressed aspects of psyche, which are taking form as lost creatures and potential enemies.
